A Prayer of Becoming
I found myself moving through another wave of transformation a tender, mysterious space between what was and what’s still unfolding.
There’s beauty in these in-between times, and they can also feel uncertain, raw, and deeply emotional. I wrote this prayer to support my own journey of surrender. To soften my resistance, tend to my energy, and open my heart to grace.
As I sat with it, I realized it wasn’t meant for me alone. Many of us are being called to release what no longer fits and trust the becoming that’s taking root within us. So, I’m sharing it here for anyone walking through change and learning to rest in the mystery.

Prayer of Becoming
Transform me to tend to my energy and soften into surrender.
Open my heart with compassion and tenderness, and guide me deeper into grace that sparks divine inspiration.
I am not who I once was, nor who I am becoming.
I walk this in-between with courage and faith.
May I receive life’s pleasures through all my senses,
and alchemize fear, anger, and frustration into passion and purpose.
I open my heart to forgiveness, to tenderness,
to compassion for myself and others.
I honor each step that led me to this light.
I surrender what once was, trusting in my rebirth.
Transform me to heal with mercy, to speak with love,
to see with clarity the aligned and misaligned.
I gather back the lost pieces of myself,
and welcome the sacredness of my becoming.
Seeds of inspiration bloom within me.
I trust the mystery, rest in grace, and rise in joy.
I am here not to fit in.
I am here to shine brightly, courageously, and free.
Reflections from My Heart
As I wrote this, I felt the gentle reminder that transformation isn’t something we force, it’s something we allow.
Each time we surrender, we make room for new life to bloom. We find grace where fear once lived, tenderness where pain once held us tight, and courage in places we never thought to look.
If these words speak to you, I invite you to take a few quiet moments this week to journal, breathe, or walk in nature. Ask yourself:
-
What part of me is ready to soften and surrender?
-
Where can I offer myself more tenderness and grace?
-
What truth am I ready to honor, even if it feels uncomfortable?
May this prayer be your companion as you move through your own becoming a reminder that you are not behind, not broken, and not alone.
You are transforming, beautifully, in your own divine timing.
